@peterdwindsor.bsky.social @thebishf1.bsky.social Hello F1 boffins. Q? What would you think if the 8 current teams on the grid with no junior squad were allowed to run a 3rd car at 5-10 races per year? Even things up a bit with RB/rb’s 4 cars. Increase the grid to 24-26 cars. Monaco excluded.

#HappyBirthday Gabriele Tarquini, 63. Tarquini started 38 #F1 GPs, always in mediocre cars, which is why he also DNQ’d for 40 more. He scored 1 point (Mexico ’89) then became one of the greatest touring car drivers of all time. Pic: battling the Fondmetal GR01 at Monaco in ’92.
