Hubby had OHS a few years ago too. Hospital followed ERAS. He was like the energizer bunny after, feeling so much better. However the recovery still took time for him to get back to normal, lots of naps. It’s a tough surgery.

Sorry you’ve been suffering so long and sorry magnesium didn’t help. My friend might be a lucky one. She’s had it for years too.

A friend with restless leg recently told me about the benefits of magnesium supplements for restless legs, saying it worked for her & other friends. She said there’s some evidence for it but I don’t know more.

FWIW I’m on high dose gabapentin for trigeminal neuralgia. A life saver for me.

I worked for a co that reported to the BLS. The key data was total # of employees & the # of supervisors, total payroll & supervisory payroll, total payroll hrs & supervisory hrs. Monthly changes had to be explained i.e layoffs or seasonal. We had a lot of part time & seasonal staff.

I worked in Harvard Square,
a lot of celebrities came thru. The best was Julia Child. She lost her parking ticket in her car. I had a pass & got her a new ticket as I came into the garage. I should have helped search her car & spent more time with her. Also sat next to Ken Howard at a bar. Nice.

+1 for Costco. I’m a long time member and don’t shop at Walmart . Went to Costco today and stocked up on staples - coffee beans, olive oil, butter, etc and a good price on eggs too. The store was very busy. 👍
