We've also got folks printing solid rocket fuel, which allows you to do some interesting things in that space in terms of rocket motor design and speed of manufacture

Yeah, on the parts side, it seems to be about getting existing parts faster than waiting for a traditional manufacturer to deliver. Designing for AM allows you to do more complex geometries or combine multiple components into a single printed part, reducing parts count and cost

anyway if you wanted to actually reign in the viceroys (who should indeed be reigned in) you would slash their staffs and bring the unimportant ones to heel via GFM and otherwise reminding them they work for OSD, not create a super CCDR to run a third of the globe

Truth. I also refuse to make soldier, sailor, airman, guardian, marine, etc. proper nouns (unless writing in a context where style guides require it). I’m contrarian.

Also…”warfighter” isn’t a word (or shouldn’t be). We should just stop using it altogether.
