It's not bad per se, it's just kind of silly because like either you're in a position to actually need to know this stuff, in which case you should've gotten Level C, or you don't actually need it in which case Level A should be like ATFP on steroids (except oh wait you have to do that one too lol)

the US intervention piece is obviously much more sensitive and not something you can play out in, for instance, T10 games since that's not the purpose of the game

But it is something that should (but probably never will) get played out at higher level strategic games *in the dept*

Japan and the Aussies are probably the only folks in the region who'll even consider throwing in with us, and what degree they do/what they'll authorize is likely a direct reflection on whether they've gotten punched yet...which you should assume Beijing knows

This is a good piece, although I would caution from taking the assertions about what wargames are or aren't doing too far, as a lot of that is reflective of the cottage industry of flimflam games that has popped up in the last 5 years vs the smaller core of hard thinking well designed games
