If you’re ever evicted for “family” to occupy the suite but you see it for rent within the year, you could be entitled to up to a YEAR’s rent in compensation here in BC. Watch those apartment listings.

Turns out it wasn’t the olives. I drank something that had tapioca in it (I am moderately allergic to tapioca). How do I know this? I drank it again this morning and OH BOY my intestines are not happy. 🤢
I ate an entire jar of garlic stuffed olives last night. I have no regrets about it. But my intestines are not happy about it. 😅

At a time when Albertans are struggling to afford groceries, utilities, and rent, the UCP voted against raising the minimum wage and gave themselves a raise instead.

This government does not care about the priorities that matter most to you.

I watched the Witcher season 4. I was prepared to be disappointed but it felt more disappointing than I was prepared for. I feel like nothing actually happened the whole season. And the last season recap was HORRIBLE since they decided to make NEW scenes with the new actor. Like omg.

Local woman has tried using the notwithstanding clause a few times over the years but maybe 5th time is a charm.
Local woman wakes up, invokes the notwithstanding clause to replace the Alberta premier and the UCP with Muppets, makes oatmeal.

I wish Costco had the option for online pickup. I’d drive to Costco for that. I’d love to order online ans just pickup. I very much dislike going into Costco in Victoria. It is so overwhelming and stressful for me. The only time I enjoyed shopping there was peak COVID times.

I want to bake banana bread. But I don’t have chocolate chips. So I need to go to the store. But I really don’t want to go to the store today. Lol

Not really a big deal but it is my current dilemma.

Then I say it’s time to stop trying because he’s never going to stop until he gets what he wants. Just move on with trade with the rest of the world and let the US sort themselves out.

On @thezone.fm this morning I heard how BC restaurants are trying to let the gov allow them to buy liquor from private stores durning the strike. That’s a form of crossing the picket line. I understand it from a biz perspective but they should be urging the gov to resolve with their workers instead

You know what I hate? When people make it easier to ask for forgiveness rather than asking for permission.

For example, my strata if you do something like leave an item in parkade for a day nothing comes of it. But if you ask permission to leave something there for a day? Nope, you get scolded.

I am now in possession of a Norfolk Pine. My question is, do you think it can survive outdoors in a pot on my balcony in Victoria? 🤔

(Victoria, BC I will add as I know some of you that follow me are in Australia, and I’m talking about Victoria in Canada haha) #yyj #gardening #trees
