Generally boring
As a tech guy, yeah, that describes a lot of fucking tech guys.

Blind ("anonymous" tech guy message board app I guess) is fucking full of that shit.

It's good to hear he's doing well! I never got to meet him, bit his bbst course videos and the influence he had on some of the testers at RIM helped me learn a lot in my work term days.

Related: If you like anime, whether you realize it or not, you've probably marveled at an "Itano Circus;" an action scene featuring aerial combat, with loads of skittering projectiles chasing a target.

This was developed by Ichirō Itano. Watch a compilation here.

I forget which video about street fighter the movie the game I was watching, but the fact that the dude who played T. Hawk (Gregg Rainwater) just didn't show up to film his game shit is pretty amazing.

Probably not as amazing as getting to play as Wes Studi as Sagat.

Watching it a second time I was like "oh... Ohhhhhhhhhh... oh man" the whole time.

I think the second watch was better than the first (and I liked it on the first watch). Which is quite the feat.

Nice!

It was a cool video though.

"Look at this problem with helpful visuals and coherent storytelling to show how we solved it" is the good shit.

That'd make me warm, not cool

Which requires paying attention to shit that needs doing because it's your fuckin space too.

If I had a daughter, I'd tell her "when you're an adult, don't date a man who hasn't lived independently for at least 5 years" because otherwise your guaranteed a shit ass man.

Both happier because we both benefited proportionally from splitting the costs (without splitting proportionally, I would have benefitted more and felt like an asshole).

It's more fair.

Men still need to hit 50/50 in chores. Just "doing something because you see it needs doing" goes a long way.

As a dude, I'm glad I shacked up after watching a lot of Gail Vaz Oxlade's shows because she drilled "split bills and living costs proportionally" into my head.

We were both happier than if we did a 50/50 split.

50/50 is room mate shit.

I used to have sets from a brand that attached a "bottom/top" label so I didn't have to try twice.

I miss those

This post has done more to make me consider watching that movie than anything ever has.

Damn, that's impressive!

You make it really easy to get electrocuted (or I guess cause an electrical fire, depending on where the end of the chain of lights is) because you either plug one end into the outlet before the strand of lights, and gotta be real careful. Or leave exposed prongs at the end of your lights.

I still think about a few shorts I saw on ZeD.

Mostly the Hansel and Gretel one with Kraftwerk and the quote "sometimes I need the taste of death in my mouth to keep me sane". And sometimes the one with the green puppet that was communing with a god.

So I also agree.
