I generally think America should make more movies and stuff about the first century or so of the United States proper, but I think the deep hypocrisy really actually makes it hard to tell these stories in a way that’s both responsible and won’t get you tarred as a radical anti-American

Exactly 80 years ago tomorrow (Nov. 30, 1945), German submarine commander Heinz-Wilhelm Eck and two of his former subordinates on the U-852 were shot by Allies in Hamburg for killing the survivors of a ship they had sunk. Pete Hagueseth should be very worried. www.executedtoday.com/2009/11/30/1...

i'm hoping all the utah progressives i know have learned their lesson and won't vote for any republican no matter how moderate or centrist they might seem in the general election. i'm still puzzled about why they did that. if they have the republican nom, they'll win. diluting their victory is good.
