The big advantage to someone like Trump is the ability to - effectively - hide transactions. Very useful after banking laws were changed in about 2007 to make it harder to hide tax fraud.

Such ridiculous effort to spread conspiracy theories. Maybe trying to cover over that the CDC could have maybe been in a position to be proactive about COVID if they weren’t being dismantled.

An individual can only vote for 1 person. The winner doesn’t need to be qualified - just be less crappy than their opponent. Politicians cannot make personal connections with everyone. The winning strategy is to impugn your opponent. Other 1st world countries have changed how they vote.
