I get more liberal capitalist as I get older. Favorite painting is Picasso’s Guernica. Favorite biography which I waited too long to read is FDR by Jean Edward Smith. Other favorites are Eisenhower and The Last Lion.

The factory revival was always a myth, how tariffs backfired, and why chaos, favoritism, and attacks on rule of law are making the U.S. a riskier place to do business.

Interesting. Trump called Epstein twice in November 2004. Wasn’t that when they were engaged in that bidding war over the mansion in Palm Beach?

Trump bought it for $41 million and then in 2008, sold it to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million.
Here's evidence that Trump called Epstein twice in 2004.

When job growth stalls, wage growth stalls, and affordability gets worse by the month.
There’s a big difference between an economy that’s growing more slowly and one that’s stalled. A stall means job creation barely keeps up with population growth—or not even that. That’s why unemployment is drifting up and folks can feel the ground shifting under them.
