I thought the Cratchits were poor enough that they couldn't afford lifesaving medical care for Tiny Tim unless Scrooge personally intervened. Is the implication that the Victorian urban middle class couldn't afford medical care?

I think that even if science is automated, we will always need humans to verify the output and implement recommendations based on the results. We can't just blindly act because the computer told us to

The rivalry games they had the last weekend of regular season play seem more meaningful than the bowl games. If the bowl games don’t mean much, it’s probably nice to shut down the program for the year and enjoy the holidays.

Part of the appeal of a video like this is the intrigue from framing it like a conspiracy. It would be harder for a journalist to make the same kinds of statements. You can’t say “they don’t want you to know” if they literally said it to a reporter
