Removing the two-child limit accounts for less than 1 per cent of social security bill. To remove 450,000 children out of poverty, that's pretty good return on investment.

I studied Greenmantle for English Lit and was hooked on Buchan from then on. Next year it was Dickens, which had exactly the opposite effect.

I'm minded to agree with you. I do enjoy the Hannay books as well though. He wrote them almost as "potboilers and they are great fun, as are the Dickson McCunn ones. Some years ago the BBC broadcast Greenmantle and there was a terrorist incident and they didn't btoadcast the third episode for ages.

Everything he's reported to have said in this BBC piece sounds like he's desperately trying to distance himself, knowing that the connection is real and toxic. If the press were investigating Farage with the same enthusiasm they went for Rayner, he'd be done for.

Yes and according to a post from an MP friend parading in uniform (presumably with exceptions for military and youth organisations) like this is illegal.
