I'm an engineer / scientist / inventor who now mostly focuses on writing & music. Also, I'm a dragon, sort of. And sometimes confused, sort of. From time to time, I shall be posting photos of trees, cats, raccoons, owls, and deer from my tiny refuge of Jeffendell. (Plus some music, possibly.)

This photo was a happy accident. I was photographing the white-tailed doe when her fawn came out of the shadows. I love the way this turned out. #mammals 🌿

A white-tailed doe looks off into the distance in the dying light of the evening. Behind her and to the right, her fawn is just visible among the shadows in the willows. Its looking at its mom the way only a child can.

A short amble by the river Wear in lunch hour. Saw what I think might’ve been a cormorant fishing in the river, and a couple of waxwings foraging for berries. 😊

The river with willows on the banks starting to turn yellow.

White yarrow and pink Himalayan balsam flowers.

Tall plant with yellow flowers, possibly goldenrod but not sure.

I just use basic functions, but I think there are all sorts of online tutorials for the more advanced features :))
