As someone working closely with this research, I see these (very adorable) robots not as a replacement for human care, but rather as tools to complement and enhance human interaction :)

Just registered for the @jbiebhc.bsky.social Comprehensive #SystematicReview Training this October through @uvic.ca. Excited to strengthen my evidence synthesis skills as I dig deeper into #SocialPrescribing and #SeniorCare research to help build the evidence base!

I work in a large organization (UBC), so from time to time, people trying to reach another Jeffrey Wong accidentally email me. So far, I’ve been an OB/GYN and a tech manager… who knows how many more Jeffrey Wongs are out there lol

A series of unfortunate events led to a visit to my local @fraserhealth.ca Urgent & Primary Care Centre, then the ER over the weekend—followed by caring healthcare providers, friends, and colleagues who reminded me I wasn’t alone🥺

Attended part of the Hobiyee celebrations at Vancouver’s PNE Forum today. It was powerful to witness the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) performing their celebration song—an expression of culture, resilience, and joy. Greatful for the chance to learn and celebrate alongside our Indigenous communities 😊
