I wrote a book about a mad king who takes over a city, Münster, Germany in 1533, stokes apocalyptic fever dreams of Christ's return, and in 16 months brings it to ruin. Seems kind of timely somehow.

America no longer stands on the side of the angels in the world. Trump and cronies drag us into dark, dark territory of betrayal and murder of innocents.
This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

In this episode of "MTG," Marjorie returns to her hometown at Christmas time, disillusioned by her pursuit of fame and fortune in the snakepit of Capitol City, to find her childhood crush is still living freely (bc he's a SWM) and simply. Through his eyes she comes to see how horrible she's been.

Wonder if that Trump visit with Mamdani will finally be the thing that leads to Repubs invoking the 25th Amendment?

Listening to these heartfelt tributes to Cheney right now and all I can think of are the thousands of Iraqi children who didn't get to say goodbye to their parents, and the thousands of Iraqi parents who had to bury their children without being able to properly mourn them.

And this, my friends, is one of the many reasons we should be wary of AI.

Well, folks, if you can't see clearly what's at stake this might help clarify things. I'm not sure democrats have the guts to do what needs to be done if they return to power, but curtailing the power of this lot should be no. 2 on the list after disbanding ICE.

I would be thrilled if the whole freaking corrupt edifice of the oligarchy came crashing down on their heads. Maybe we'd have a chance to rebuild a govt. based on trying to create a more just and compassionate society.
CNN: What if there are more names connected to the Democratic Party that come out in the files?

CHRIS MURPHY: So what?

I'm not sure what "woke" really means anymore, but in aftermath of Epstein files, it appears to be anything that tries to hold corrupt and powerful degenerates to account. Pull the thread on Epstein hard enough and a whole underground world comes to the surface. May it be so.
November 20, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Minor opinion: Trump is not what's most important in the Epstein files, the web of corruption spun from Epstein is. Follow the money.

None of us are safe with this regime in power.

Listening to Mike Johnson lie constantly about the Epstein vote really challenges my theology of universal salvation.

Plot twist: Maurene Comey, lead prosecutor on the Epstein case in SDNY keeps a copy of all the files in anticipation of this moment. Chaos ensues.

Question: Is it ever the case that Supreme Court justices get worked behind the scene? Any recorded instance of this?

Until Gov. Pritzker works to stop this, his words are empty and meaningless.

The attorney general and the FBI director, a manosphere podcaster bro, pulled into the situation room a member of Congress best known for getting kicked out of a Beetlejuice musical for drunkenly giving her date a handy, in order to pressure her about the president's child sex trafficking scandal.

So, willing to grant without Dems moving on, we wouldn’t have had this day.

Reading these emails makes me think that a lot of people would want Epstein dead.

Burn it all to the ground. We can build a new country once this degenerate rot has blown away.
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?
“would you like photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?” -Jeffrey Epstein

I don't know if this present moment will cleanse of the rot that rests at the heart of our government, but I do know that our only hope is that a cleansing wind will blow away the dirt and filth that clogs the body politic.
November 13, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Theory of the case: Trump is using Epstein material to blackmail members of Congress. He's worried about losing his leverage because he's been shamed so many times for degeneracy he's immune to it.

I feel like this needs to be posted everyday until we realize the madness that has fallen on us. Until we reject the constant lies we are building a debt hard to pay.
November 11, 2025 at 9:10 PM
After my incandescent rage has subsided, I keep asking myself one question: What was the Dems endgame? Trump would never negotiate, @GOP is utterly corrupt, and Dems don't have the numbers. So, was there any outcome in the real world that would have satisfied us?
