First dress rehearsal last night for #SweeneyTodd. I haven’t been on stage for 25 years, so returning was intimidating enough, let alone as the Demon Barber. But that feeling… the audience, the music… it never gets old!

A vital skill when it comes to being a creator (or lots of other areas too) is giving yourself grace. Other demands, state of the world, whatever.
Give yourself time.
Be disciplined, yes, but also be kind to yourself. The "You should be writing" constant chant leads to burnout.
