Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.

"Please get the truth out about our son."

Greg Bovino and eight vehicles of ICE personnel back in Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul at 2p. Knocked on a door, Bovino did interviews with influencers. A few instigators were caught trying to escalate situation.

Neighbors threatened with pepper spray. Nobody taken. Left after 15 minutes.

Thanks Phil. Just had Bovino and eight vehicles pull up around the block, same time of day as yesterday.

ICE is in the Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul: three black SUVs and an old white pickup, Texas and Illinois plates.

“Make sure you take a good picture,” from inside his vehicle. All four off after 10 minutes of whistles and filming, scattered departure.

The Whitecaps are deservedly ahead in the Western Conference final, and they acquired their lead defender and midfield focal point for $525,000 in *total*.

Just remembering that Tristan Blackmon was atop everyone's big board for the 2021 expansion draft, and I still don't think Charlotte FC got enough flack for punting on a free claim on a sure-thing defender.

Not enough people remembering how much Miami is relying on This Quintet. San Diego and especially Vancouver would be far more threatening to get in behind them, when they’re even shakier.

Another display as the CBS broadcast readies for the second half, this time with fans holding signs reading the same message:

“USL HQ: Pro/rel?

Try pro standards first.”

Would guess that was why MLS’s officials determined not to have Obed Vargas retake his attempt.

John does his typical excellent work getting to the heart of this, associating apathy around Messi to a broader “creeping resentment” as one-time plucky underdog MLS has fully gone corporate.

Must-read.

Yeah, that checks out - coronavirus, then one of the few non-expansion seasons of the past 15+ years.

As someone whose time freelancing for MLSsoccer was a vital step in my career progression, and someone who generally gleans insight from the observations of others:

This sucks so hard.

Congratulations to Luis Barraza and Aaron Herrera on finishing the 2025 DC United season one week early.

Joe Mansuetto: Well, that's all the questions I had. Anything you want to ask us before we wrap up this interview?
Gregg Berhalter:

Just submitted my ballot for this year's MLS 22 Under 22.

- A considerable number of regular starters this year.
- A lot of really solid 3- or 4-star prospects here, even if the Almadas or Davies are lacking. That's sustainable.
- Good teams play kids, duh.

Glad MLS continues running this series.

No pathway to the UWCL can compare to the pull of a daily happy hour with fried mozz.

Pictured: a shot map from a scoreless half. Hell of a shift from Jacob Jackson.

Safe to say that tonight’s St. Louis City vs FC Dallas was an all-timer of sorts. Can’t remember a backup GK weathering a mid-game inclusion this well.
