If the setting of the stories in that post still exists at all, it's not in Five Points and Little Hollywood anymore. It left before Todd did. And I don't think you can read this and fault anyone for missing it.

1) for anyone whose social feeds are covered with Todd Snider posts and are confused or surprised by how many people feel personally affected by the news this weekend, I think this is a pretty quick path to understanding it.

Reading it again now in the wake of Todd's own passing, I think it reveals a lot about his own views of life, mortality, and how he'd probably like to be remembered himself.

I thought I'd share it with my followers here for two reasons:
