Eighty years ago, On December 12th, 1944, eight young Canadians died when their Halifax bomber crashed near Rhayader. They gave their lives to preserve our freedom. Join us in Rhayader, Powys on December 12th, 2024 to remember the crew of LL541. Lest we forget.

A tantalising find from mid-Wales: Transfer Printed Ware willow pattern with a base stamp NEW / Brosely. It seems that this is a reference to the Broseley style of pattern rather than being made there. The style derives from Broseley, Shropshire in the 1780s based on Chinese models. 1/2
