This is on the left and the right. I hear some so called ‘facts’ repeated on my side, the left, that are provably false. I also hear stats presented in a way that fails to tell the true story and that prevents deep analysis of the political position of the left. 4/

I too have been complicit, especially where a certain couch joke is concerned, but it has to stop. I now have to verify almost everything I want to rely on, even when a seeming fact is uttered by sources I once considered reliable. 3/

This unwillingness to speak the truth is everywhere. Gossip rags making up fake stories, satirical posts that hope you believe they are factual, flat tummy tea ads, the stories older family members send you on Facebook … 2/
