The wa gov response is disappointing… this research raises some interesting questions and possible solutions…. But it would require accepting that the white fellas didn’t know as much as they thought they did…

After devastating fires in 1939, authorities began burning forests to reduce fuel load. But we now know this creates conditions for even worse fires.
In 1939, a Royal Commission found burning forests leads to more bushfires. But this cycle of destruction can be stopped

The budget didn't bother the powerful.

No windfall tax on banks. Govt subsidy of £23bn+ continues.

No windfall tax on energy companies, £125bn profit since 2020.

Corporate profiteering and subsidies continue. No curbs on corporate welfare.

85,500 have wealth of £2.8 trillion, hardly touched.
The government’s budget is simply managing decline
The budget does little to improve living standards or facilitate sustained economic growth

I post something funny about Xmas outfits, and this man points out: actually... Xmas is associated with gendered violence. Thanks dude, I'll never make jokes again about Xmas, sporting events, relationships, homes, work, school, cars, entertainment venues, beaches, public transport, or streets.
Funny. But Xmas is a high point for domestic violence.
🤔☹️
There's still time to put some thought into your outfit, if you're going to a family Christmas.
