Taking over the world one microbe at a time.

Taking myself not too seriously.
UD closed main campus already Monday.

We will be closed for public schools here. We just can’t handle snow. Not enough plows.

We dropped also. But - I’ve learned to never say never since models do awful with predictions when you live between two large bodies of water. Storms change over the Chesapeake Bay.

I'm still so amazed - my friend at georgia tech got told to take down websites on nearly day 1 of the administration.
Meanwhile, my school has barely changed a thing. They keep saying our state AG loves to sue.
It's been such a dichotomy in higher ed.

You are lucky if that is just what happens! We get rat snakes that eat all our eggs. They have to go.

Available now, wherever books are sold.

Haha this is the best response to this article. When I read it, I was like so wait you slacked for years and didn’t back stuff up and now you’re mad?!

I was thinking of an exploratory "vampirome" of marine spaces.

I think often of the stat that so many Americans don't even read the news. So out of those 10s of millions, like 5 million have no idea what is going on.

My colleagues react very strongly when I ask them in the hallway if they can use sheep's blood.

This academic year I've purchased dermestid beetles and now sheep's blood. Purchasing must love me.

Wait maybe not the absolute nastiest, this one was negative for hemolysis.

easy peasy.

We've had some Vibrio isolates give us a run for our money lately. Freaking microbes.

Very likely to NEVER trust someone to do that for me.

Sorry not sorry. Spent too much time in low biomass deep biosphere.
