I haven't had a stable GP for 5-6 years now too, so I can't possibly explain everything each time!
We just moved practice (again) and my new GP gave me almost 30 mins this week to just go through *everything*. She seems as frustrated as I am, so I might get somewhere this time!

My favourite real-life example of this was a student who wanted books on India
Turned out she didn't, she wanted to know more about embroidery on saris, to her the country was the obvious place to start, but in our lib she needed textiles and art

The UK civvie ones are v similar in feel

oh my (then 3) LOVED it (hence the acrylic, so it was easy to wash)
It was a lovely sofa donated by a friend, and the cover was to hide damage done by his dog 😂
