Here’s Onion, certain that a life-sized painted cut-out of Zac Efron is offering him a treat.
Leaning against a white wall at Generator Projects’ Members’ Show exhibition is a life-sized painting cut-out of Zac Efron, depicting him in the first film he did after High School Musical, so my friend informed me, though I forget the name (and I also don’t know the artist’s name ah!). A small fluffy brown and white dog looks up at Zac’s slightly clenched hand, hoping that a treat lurks within.

I have run away from home by myself for a couple of nights and now I am looking at photos of my dog.
Seen from above, a small reddish-brown and white dog with bedraggled-from-this-angle fur is curled up in bed. His eyes are mostly closed and he looks soooo relaxed. And so cute!! The cutest!!!

“The most photographed index card drawer label” at the Local History Centre, it’s hard to be ashamed about being so basic.

Some small nice bits from a day.
On an old sandstone wall, house numbers ‘11 ABC’ are painted in white. The two simple rectangles of the ‘11’ are matched in height by the letters ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ that sit alongside, stacked on top of one another. It’s all very pleasing to the eye. A snippet of a mural of stylised daffodils by Dianne Selby, painted on one of the exterior walls of a cafe in Broughty Ferry. They’re bright in their greens and yellows, larger than life in scale. Two frenemies waiting for a bus. A black lab sits looking up at her owner, while next to her (but not too close) a small fluffy brown and white pup looks back over his shoulder up at his person (so that from our perspective, his face is upside down).

A three story building seen from the street – across the front, above scaffolding and criss-crossed between four windows, is a big red bow suggesting that this house is a present. It’s truly ridiculous and extra.
