"It is small, and it is fragile, and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us."
If governments continue to criminalise and detain peaceful protestors, who do they think will be left behind?

The First Intifada was mostly peaceful and non-violent, described as a "quiet revolution". That didn't stop Israel mass arresting Palestinians. Similarly, the civil rights movement in the north began peacefully, yet the British state arrested and interred peaceful protestors.

Grundlé, known as Daniel 'Tiny' Douglas, intends to follow in the footsteps of his uncle Jimmy Grundlé who "introduced the National Front to Northern Ireland". You know... the National Front, the antisemitic, far-right, fascist political party that even the UDA proscribed as a Neo Nazi movement.

Three weeks ago, "patriot" Steven Baker stood behind a massive Israeli flag emblazoned with the words WE LOVE ISRAEL, chanting "we're not Gaza, we're Northern Ireland". This week he was welcomed by Dan Grundlé to the latest Fashbook group added to the ever growing pit of racist befriending groups.

Think I'm too old to be sent to war but they'll find a use for me, maybe turning me into liquid sustenance for children on a 24h weapon manufacturing production line. I'm 50% coffee, 30% pizza, 10% anti anxiety meds and 10% "health drink" to make up for the coffee and pizza, so all the food groups.

I'd love to go to war, just to come home and pay the old people I've been defending all the money I was paid for defending them for the second home they own that I have to rent from them.

My brain works this way too. As someone that works in the “creative industries” I’m pretty sure that my lack of self confidence has come from being constantly up against people who don’t see the value of creative play because it eats up time and gets in the way of profitability.

But, according to them, the Ulster Pink Ladies aren’t racist. It’s just that, as Mark ‘Freedomdad’ Sinclair put it: “there’s a difference between our paedophiles and their paedophiles…”
I wonder what that difference is.

They haven’t even mentioned Alexis Lee Campion, an Irish woman who was doused in petrol last week and set on fire. Reports suggest the attack was carried out by a Dublin drug gang.
