Fresh peas are Coffee's favourite toy lately. He bats and chases them, and gently picks them up in his mouth to move them from room to room.

I feel like one day I'll have to set up a concept shop just filled with tiny dishes for funsies.

Yesterday I wanted to start on a maple cake stand but instead I gave up and just made another tiny dish after too many interruptions.

Seems especially ridiculous when the largest thing I've turned so far on the lathe is the maple plate on the bottom of this stack (about 5.5" diameter)

(Today, I'm looking for articles about woodturning certain wood species. There's been more than one article confidently describing walnut timber as a creamy white...)

I'm rubbish at carving but it's so fun :) Partly finished tiny wooden spoon, being made from some kind of oak branch that fell from a tree down beyond my backyard in the winter.

This house has a small media room but we had been using it as overflow storage and a space for our cats. Now that there's a huge extra couch (I'd already bought one to replace the missing one after months of being ignored) I'll be making an effort soon to make the room into a usable media room :)

I'm really wanting to play Pikmin 4, but 14 freaks out about spoilers every time I try 🙄

Estimations spot on, I thought I'd have ~60kg all up with my satchel handbag and it was 58.5kg. I've got my handbag and one of the backpacks with my laptop in it, and the other five bags got checked 😁 Fingers crossed they all make it now lol

I've been cleaning out the mountain house getting it ready to sell, and the last time the family was there we didn't know this would happen. The bags contain a large number of small items that the kids and I have been missing (and a few things I forgot to pack for the movers).
