I've spent the last 3 years animating episode 1 of the Daleks' Master Plan for its 60th anniversary today! Yes, we had a slight technical hitch when I realised I'd uploaded the wrong version of the file, but we're good now!

I've spent the last 3 years animating episode 1 of the Daleks' Master Plan for its 60th anniversary today! Yes, we had a slight technical hitch when I realised I'd uploaded the wrong version of the file, but we're good now!

60 years ago today, at 5.50pm BBC 1 broadcast the first episode of the 12-episode epic Daleks' Master Plan. It was subsequently junked from the archive.
I've spent the last 3 years animating it. It's not exactly the same as it was. It's not meant to be. But I hope you enjoy it.

Happy Doctor Who Day, everyone. When I'm not full-time academicking, I've been animating episode 1 of Daleks' Master Plan. Nothing official, just for fun. 2 years in, I've done 15 minutes. So I guess finished around this time next year?? Follow my progress:

On the plus side, despite absentmindedness, I did manage to go to my first ever book launches this week - two nights in a row - and also went to my local writing workshop in Cambridge last night, which is always fun and full of lovely people.

So in the last three days I've left my work laptop in the boot of my car, which husband drove to Cambridge (meaning I had to take an impromptu day off work), I spilled coffee on my car seat trying to juggle an umbrella and said laptop bag when I did finally make to work the next day, and 1/2
