“I think it’s the same story. It’s corporations coming and looking for resources and looking for small towns. And hoping they can get away with it without people pushing back.”
A plan to add a data center in the Village of Caledonia has inched forward — but opposition has forged unexpected alliances.

Since joining Congress, Tiffany’s only legislative win has been renaming a post office in Necedah, WI. That’s a long way from the kind of real problem-solving a governor is supposed to deliver.

Businesses in one rural Wisconsin county are backfilling costs of a smaller Local Food Purchase Assistance program following funding cuts by the Trump administration — residents and farmers hope donations will sustain the program in an area with few grocery stores, reports @wisconsinwatch.org.

"I've long felt that the most important thing you can do for election security is to have a paper copy of a ballot. We do audits after the fact, we do testing of machines beforehand, tabulators in Wisconsin are not connected to the internet—so it seems to me that it's very secure." Don Millis, WEC
Hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites rely on mail-in voting to safely & securely make their voices heard in our elections.

As Trump & MAGA Republicans continue to attack vote-by-mail, we must demand that the state legislature stand up to protect our freedom to vote.

In Oct 2024, the Biden Administration implemented a new EPA rule requiring local governments to replace all lead service lines by 2037, providing $43 million to Wisconsin for the project.

Trump’s budget bill cut the program. Wisconsin's children deserve better.
We all want our families to grow up healthy, happy, & safe.

But instead of supporting our vision, MAGA Republicans like Tom Tiffany & Bryan Steil voted to gut critical climate investments & green energy initiatives.

Demand better for our families & our future at 202-224-3121.

Reimbursement for special ed costs in public schools is just 42–45%—half of what private voucher schools receive. This means WI will shoulder even more of the burden at a time when special ed is already drastically underfunded.

Add this into the mix, and special ed students are being left behind.
The Trump Administration’s attack on the Department of Education will have severe consequences for students with disabilities.

Lavender season is in full swing across Wisconsin, and the fields are as beautiful as they are fragrant. Washington Island gets a lot of well-deserved attention, but lavender farms are blooming all over the state right now.

SNAP-Ed, a federal nutrition education program, was creating 'magic' in Wisconsin: introducing kids to new fruits and veggies, helping families save on groceries, and encouraging more physical activity in residents old and young.

But that program has now been cut by Trump.

More here from me:
