There is also a really significant gannet colony on one of the other islands in the archipelago, which tours boats usually do a lap around as part of the trip. Binoculars highly recommended!

And I should mention that it does need a bit of physical ability with lots of steps, unfortunately not suitable for some with impaired mobility.

I think no one has recommended the Skelligs yet! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skellig... Absolutely beautiful, and especially great if you're interested in birdwatching and history too. Takes some planning, as you need to book space on a boat and is not open all year round, but so worth it.
