This is Oliver. He lived in a shelter for his first 3.5 months, then with a foster family for 2 weeks before completing our family almost 2 years ago. I’d say he has settled into his life of being the best doggie ever quite nicely. ❤️🥰

I am helping my best friend with the last few details of her wedding, which is tomorrow! After that I get ready to start my second year as a TA at our local elementary school. This year, among many other things, I get to work in the library! So very excited.

As I’ve told both my 2- and 4-legged children, my job as a parent is to keep them safe and healthy. It’s not to make every day the best day ever.

Thank you! It’s the Happiness Squared blanket from Mary Maxim. It’s a sampler-type pattern; each square is different. I modified the pattern to use two of the squares repeated.

I was going to hit the heart on this as a show of support, but that feels wrong to like something so awful. Instead, sending you patience and moral support. Or the words / strength / whatever to set her straight in a way that will stick.
