In full-on print mode as I pull the final reduction for my book! My Gunning etching press is getting a workout, but I can’t get enough of spinning that wheel. Can’t show you yet—it’s all hush-hush until I hand it over to Bloomsbury in just 12 days.

I think my plates shelf looks so pretty! I’ve made soooo many plates over my lifetime as a printmaker, and each one is so precious to me. I love working with all metals, and plasma cutting is definitely up there in my top 10 favourite things to do, alongside spit bite and aquatint etching! Burnishin

💡 Printmaking Hack! Want to achieve the Perfect Printmakers Kiss? Here’s my process: I set the pressure on the etching press, register the plate and paper, ink up, and I use packing paper- around 280 gsm - x 4 sheets The result is a flawless pull! Here’s my latest print of The Ironbridge.
✨ Printmaking Tip: Prep your intaglio paper in just a few steps! Soak for 20+ minutes, squeegee the water off on the wall, then blot gently. This saves your blotting paper and keeps it in great condition! Tear down the paper after printing to get clean, torn edges without worrying about inky fingers
