Have a listen to this new podcast started by a member of our Imperial Stroke Public Involvement Group. I think it has the potential to evolve into a useful resource for people with stroke and their families. @imperialbrains.bsky.social @imperialperc.bsky.social shows.acast.com/talking-abou...

I'm planning to write an editorial in @brain1878.bsky.social entitled "If patients only knew".
It's about obstacles that slow down or prevent people from participating in clinical studies and the pace of initiating #ClinicalTrials. If you have experience or comments please message me and repost.

What an absolute pleasure it was to welcome the brilliant @f-geranmayeh.bsky.social for our seminar series at @psychologyuea.bsky.social. Fascinating and important work on using LLMs in stroke. Great speaker :)

Do you use lay consent forms?
jennycrow.bsky.social
Yes I had lay P.I.S which were useful for many of the participants, even those who had English as their mother tongue. The problem comes with the consent form which is so formally worded and inaccessible. With words like legal rights, regulatory authorities.
