Can confirm that pediatricians in Texas are scrambling. In the absence of any serious federal or state health guidance, they’re relying on group texts and private social channels to coordinate.
My staff and I are closely tracking the potential measles exposure in San Antonio that originated with a visitor from West Texas.

Ages ago, one of my journalism mentors cautioned me about the astronomic level of propaganda in the field and suggested the following reminders as a way to ground against it:
1) Who, and what, is being emphasized?
2) Who, and what, is being ignored?
3) Who, and what, is considered expendable?
