Making Tinola for the first time and needed chayote squash or a green (unripe) papaya. I bought the hardest papaya at the store, but it was pink when I cut it open. I don’t know how to buy an unripe papaya without seeing the inside of it. Heading back to the store for chayote. 🤷🏼♀️
