Why do parents advertise their kids for work? I want to know what the worker has to say about their experience, not their parent's opinion. And 21 is WAY too old to be heli-parent-job-searching.

How terrible. It just occurred to me that TJ might be bribing Iran and Israel into the ceasefire. Cuz the track record ain't good - for any of them - on this "ceasefire" concept, and they all need the good press. 🤔

Researching something I stumbled on a literal Ministry of Doublespeak document telling us what we should think because what we see with our own eyes is a lie. I'm still in awe. So many quotation marks...

US admin is coordinating military aircraft to deport undocumented immigrants to Libya, a corrupt war/terrorism torn country so dangerous that US and most other countries advise not to go there. Wonder how much the US is paying Libya to disappear humans Trump doesn't like? Welcome to fascism 101.

Fire Dept elections today and the group that thought a text campaign titled 911 Wildfire Emergency (to highest fire risk community in the US) was clever sent another unsolicited text with their names on it. Thanks for the list of people I will NOT be voting for.

Me: Yea we're in CRPS remission! Also Me: It's so nice to be off all those meds... Side-eye Me: Oh wait, so THIS is the mood disorder called peri-menopause? Husband: We could go axe throwing...

Hubby talking corp layoffs of old. Last one I literally walked in the door & felt the layoff energy, even though I was one of the first in. No hints, just that feeling. Boss rec'ed my current employer, and thankfully within a month I had my gig. My writing sample was OG by my boss even. Life's odd.

Guess we'll simply buckle up and expect a rickety old rollercoaster for the foreseeable future. Won't contribute to the economy unnecessarily or bad corporations. The garden holds the future, from seed to fruit, reliably and comfortably with tastiness and nutrition. Here's to anti-consumerism.

Like others I'm starting to lose interest in current events because they are so constant and terrible. It'll take time for the legal system to catch up, if it chooses to, but it's looking grim. Democracy is at risk, and leadership is ushering it out as fast as they can. Disgusting.

I'm curious - seriously - how tariffs on imported goods like produce are supposed to help the economy of the country that imports said goods? Aren't things just more expensive/not bought by consumers and the import treasury makes a fraction of the projected income due to lost sales? Anyone? Bueller?
