The people driving this, the ones stealing everyone's work and trying to put people out of work don't care about making their data centers environmentally friendly. There is literally no merit to gen ai.

Generative AI is inherently bad because it's trained on a lot of stolen work and uses vast amounts of energy and water to run.

Iterative AI programmed on specific data for specific purposes are not inherently bad as long as the data isn't stolen, and it's used as a tool and not to replace people.

I installed Sumatra and it's really good! Just a basic pdf reader that works.

I uninstalled Adobe Reader the other day because it was SO slow, bogged down with so much AI bloat that it was over 1GB of software! For a PDF reader!!! Uninstalling sent me to a feedback page so I made it clear exactly why I uninstalled it.
