Shortly afterward we moved away so I didn't get to continue with those friends. But I'd kind of imprinted on the games a lot. A little while later I was gifted a stack of Dynamite! magazines by my dad's cousin, who was closer in age to me than to him. One of them had an article about D&D in it 8/

One of my friends in that group had a a copy of the Dungeon! boardgame, and she recognized the kind of pattern of that game as being similar to what we were doing. I played that over at her house a few times and loved it too, to the point where later I got it for Christmas from my parents 7/

This is why I say that debates are not for normal people, they're for the NYT and the WaPo. They exist to generate drama for the press to talk about not to inform the public. At least since the LWV stopped doing them. Candidates who don't understand this dynamic will never do well at a "debate"

One of the underreported things about this particular attack by Vance is that they are deliberately calling these folks "illegal" immigrants when they are refugees.

Trump has been doing this forever and the far right does not believe that refugee status is a legitimate form of immigration
