Hence my use of "mostly rejected" and "antiquated."
However, I believe there are still ideological echoes of those older beliefs in most of Christianity and those beliefs still tend towards an eagerness to blame bodies for sin. You're welcome to disagree, but that's my opinion.

Absolutely.
