This is the question we must all answer for ourselves. But if we cede democracy out of fear of Trump, things will not get better just because we cave. Freedom is worth the hard work it’s going to take.
There are only two things that stand between Trump and being a dictator -- the courts and elections. Trump wants to send a clear message to law firms that he will go after them.
It is ok to be afraid, the question is what do you do. Do you hide and cower in fear or stand tall and say it is wrong?

The persistent myth that civil movements and their watershed moments are spontaneous events that occur when people get "fed up" rather than the result of careful planning, study, and principled effort has done more to undermine organizing in this country than any armed repression ever could.
