It's plain as day that the attacks on "wokeness" are not merely hypocrisy against the disinterest in attacks on LGBTQ existence, but in fact attempts to expand censorship of things that can be labelled "woke".
It's neo-McCarthyism, redefining protection of "liberties" as oppression of minorities.

Right now, governments are censoring books about LGBTQ people, restricting reproductive and gender affirming healthcare, deporting masses of people who seek asylum, banning protests, etc and, yet, some commentators continue to insist that “wokeness” is the greatest threat to our freedom. It’s gross.
