She's under the bed, trying to figure out how to move it away from the wall, when there is a knock from the direction of the door.

Who knocks on a prison cell?

Ana regrets not having Daskom in her head - he'd have a quip. Probably a rhyme. Damn poet dragon.

Kitsap County commissioners will hear/see on Monday 3 NOV, and Central Kitsap CAC on Wednesday 5 NOV - DCD's update to Silverdale Regional Center planning.
I can't link directly to the presentation on Silverdale, but if you search 3 NOV, you will see it www.kitsap.gov/BOC_p/Pages/...

"Is it just us, on this picnic?" Eyebrows up, hand outstretched.

She grabbed his outstretched hand and with both of hers and faced him directly, "Yes, well, us and a giant, pesky, dragon...who is also our ride. It was his idea after all."

'caregiver' and 'caretaker' are somehow synonymous

I'm working on a thing, but it is absolutely wild to me that a housing development that has faced public backlash for more than 20 years is still plodding forward

when I see 'pedestrian v vehicle' or 'bicycle v vehicle' collision in reporting, it kinda breaks my brain.

This is not a versus; versus implies some kinda opportunity for winning on each side.

No way the pedestrian took on a vehicle.

Another way to help in WA, CA, OR, and ID is to bake bread or protein cookies with Community Loaves for donation to food banks. Location hubs are on the website. WA has a LOT of locations, approved recipes are provided, and discounted ingredients are available to purchase.

looking at job opportunities and absolutely shocked at how many senior level data science roles have stuff like "shows up to work" in required qualifications.
That feels more like 'floor' of any role.

Also, senior level data scientist who shows up to work looking for new role.

It’s weird watching all of these elctd folk talk up their anger/bill to ensure “this particular [agency/subagency] ppl get paid” but hundreds of thousand of ppl do invisible work that supports us even if we don’t see them at the airport or whatever.
