you know, I'm something of vfx artist myself

I spent a bunch of time getting this juuuuust right. It's the ending of a video I'm working on. Since it's at the very end it'll probably be seen by like 20% of viewers

I was working on it instead of doing the more impactful but super boring task of going through the video to add visuals and b-roll

More playing with editing and trying to make an interesting sequence of shots

might use it for some video with a voice over maybe

I'm being motivational

The fusion page in DaVinci Resolve is dangerous. You can do so much that I just spend all my time figuring out how to do every silly idea I have

This is a node that masks the input to only show the area in the window and it lets you resize the window without scaling

I spent way too long making something to let me get video that looks like it's looking up through my keyboard.

I also made it smaller than life sized by accident. Oh well, seems to work well enough!

This is what I spent my time doing instead of editing a video. The idea was to indicate the different rendering layers of the game boy.

I think it turned out ok considering I'd never used blender before!
