That fascist needs to keep Tolkien's ideas out of his mouth. When Tolkien wrote about making because we are made in the image and likeness of a maker, it was literally in a lecture and then an essay On Fairy Stories. Pretty sure the kind of factory work he's describing has nothing to do with art.

USAID matters. I've often disagreed with their strategy and choices, but their work saves more lives than any philanthropy can. It's a rounding error in the federal budget, and one of the best things we do as a country. To see it destroyed overnight by one unelected man is an unmitigated horror.
