Correct
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

AOC slammed Mike Johnson, saying: “You run the government. If you have the votes, then go ahead. If you need Democrats, then you need to negotiate with Democrats. Those are your two options. Blaming someone else because your shoes are untied isn’t one.”

The fight going on in the Democratic Party right now is not between hard left, left and moderate. It’s between those who want to fight and those who want to cave. And Team Fight stretches across all ideological aspects of the Party. Misread this at your own peril.

@schumer.senate.gov should resign!
Let’s face it, Schumer has been terrible even before this. It is time for new leadership. He isn’t the person for this moment in history, and the longer he clings to power the worse off we all are.

Unfortunately not news, Trump is a pathological liar
President Trump promised voters he wouldn’t waste precious American lives and taxpayer dollars on far-off wars and nation building.

But just weeks into his second term, he's laid out plans to “take over” Gaza, reclaim the Panama Canal and buy Greenland.
With Gaza rehab plan and other foreign policy ideas, President Trump goes from America First to America Everywhere
The rhetorical shift from America First to America Everywhere is leaving even some of his allies slack-jawed — and wondering if he’s really serious.
