Just finished “Twilight of Democracy: The Seductive Lure of Authoritarianism” This was a very good analysis of what is happening both in Europe and America. Highly recommend this book.

Sing in the shower

Pick up the guitar

Paint something

Write a book

Plant a garden

Make love

All these things are acts of joy and rebellion

Happy Darwin Day! I was just this morning thinking of how whale evolution really is one of the best and most accessible examples to picture evolutionary processes in action. “On Origin of Species” is one of the top 10 books I think everyone should read.

Came across this app that helps you figure out if what you purchase supports your political leanings. There were a few surprises. Mostly, I’m on track with my purchases and investments, but there are some substitutions I need to find for my fridge.

I’m in a strongly liberal district, so it doesn’t really matter much for me, but some of you in more battleground districts need to download this and use it on the regular.

Cleaning out some old papers and came across this. I think I’ll save it for its historic value. You know, when NASA tired to be inclusive. Maybe one day we can return to more enlightened times.
