There was a house on the way to my dad’s business in the 80s that had a concrete step stone daisy with yellow petals and a brick red circular center with DEVO in white on it in their front yard. I thought it was the coolest thing.

Advertisement/propaganda. They knew what they were doing back then, according to an environmental geology professor I took a course from at university who used to work for one of the big oil corporations.
