Can anyone on here point me towards potential conference attendance/panel creation grants I can apply for this summer? I’ve been invited to do a talk or panel by the 8th Edition of the Global Congress on Gender & Sexuality Studies. I’ve missed @royalhistsoc.org’s grant submission window sadly.

Anyone on #Academicbluesky know of any asoiaf journals which are peer reviewed? Or somewhere an article on real disability history and it in asoiaf/GOT by a historian might be appreciated?

After a few delays, my book Queer Disability Through History is finally available to buy, right on time for disability history month!

It covers the shared history between the Queer and Disabled communities, and everyone has said very nice things about it

the history of class struggle is the history of disability rights holy shit. I'm honestly fed up with these fucking assholes, you're on the wrong side of history and doing the work of the bourgeoisie.
What an unreal question. “It’s 2025, why haven’t you abandoned disabled and high-risk folks yet?”

“The rest of us all agreed to forget about you in 2021, why haven’t you caught up?”
