The judge who ruled against Trump’s deployment of the National Guard to Oregon was a Trump appointee. Even Republicans know this is a gross overreach.

He’s pushing all the wrong buttons.

As news breaks that Trump is federalizing the Illinois National Guard, keep in mind that ICE is already terrorizing Chicagoans. ICE raided an apartment complex, which led to American citizens being pulled out of their homes and children being zip-tied together.

By a 17 point margin, Americans blame the GOP for the shutdown. And Americans overwhelmingly back extending ACA subsidies—71% in WaPo, 78% in the KFF poll.

At the same time, they ignore the fact that the guy who drove up to the Mormon church in Michigan, killed five people and set it on fire was a Trump supporter.

Then, Trump comes in and admits it had everything to do with government pressure.

He did something similar with the upcoming Comey indictment. Just another piece of the puzzle.

Meanwhile, the Justice Department quietly took down data showing most ideological murders come from right-wing extremists.

Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension wasn’t “cancel culture.” It was government coercion. Brendan Carr told Benny Johnson, “we can do this the easy way or the hard way,” and affiliates panicked.

Regulatory threats can’t be the answer to speech we don’t like. If we let this stand, no voice is safe.
