I don’t LOVE writing them, but for me they’re easier in a lot of ways than a blurb, since I’m just recapping the story and not trying to be (as) catchy and concise.

I would still rather do almost anything else, though, lol.

I’m actually pretty good at writing pitch blurbs! Anything is possible, whee!

But then the book fills in and the details change and I have to redo the blurb to match what I’ve written and ugh.

Ooh, tea time would’ve been perfect! I ended up eating a piece of fruit because I didn’t think I was going to make it to dinner—but I also didn’t want to make dinner right now, either. 😭

I got busy and forgot to eat lunch and now I’m in that liminal space that’s too late for lunch and too early for dinner.

This having to eat multiple times a day is a real racket.

My review percent is terrible because I hate reviewing on NetGalley itself, though I love shouting about books I love here, so if there’s some sort of auto % cutoff, I’m going to fail.
