This was the exact worry I had that companies would take away from dealing with anti-‘woke’ chuds. This concept sounds great, and now we won’t get it because these companies want to give into outrage merchants who suck the joy out everything.

I checked several shows and it definitely seems like Crunchyroll went back to their old subtitles overnight. Digimon Beatbreak is also back to Toei’s usual in-house subtitle font.

Probably my favorite of the "long" One Piece OPs. The early parts ooze charm and the backhalf helps sets the stage for what was at the time the biggest saga of the series. Song is a banger too

Oh wow, Google is really sneaky with their AI Mode button on the new tab page in Chrome. Here's a very unintuitive way to disable it.

1. Open chrome://flags/ in your browser.
2. Look for "ntp-compose-entrypoint".
3. Switch to "disabled".
4. Restart your browser.

"Birth name" is a term we already have (not that that would be any more defensible, just less insane-sounding). "Biological" here is solely a dog-whistling cudgel against trans ppl
