I'm not at #SDCC but I still get to have an announcement!
Myself and @iceghost.bsky.social are working on a spooky mini-series at @marvelcomicshqs.bsky.social and our first issue has some badass variants from @anniewu.bsky.social and @gretlusky.bsky.social

D'fied Avengers day 26- Young Avengers week. Probably my favorite member. Hope to see more of her in the MCU- Kate Bishop aka-Hawkeye.

With what's now on deck, this will end up as the longest, most successful solo run Wanda's ever had. I couldn't be more thankful! To readers for supporting the run, and to Marvel-for pushing us to fit more ideas, more story, more creativity with abilities, and more new build lore into every issue.
Cooking new plans for Wanda in 2025...and beyond? Hmm :-)

Amaranth! Design by @jenbartel.art

We've seen a bit of what she can do, but as for who she is...well, Wanda's actions matter. When the Scarlet Witch makes a move, everyone from people on the street to cosmic beings notice. So, how does Wanda fit in? And how did Amaranth get to that forest fire?

89. Prodigy / David Alleyne - Yes, the X-Men one. His whole thing is being the absolute smartest. He can learn anything known by anyone else he meets.

74. Phyla Vell - Speaking of, there are a lot of people that have carried the name Captain Marvel over the years but only one of them is a queer space night with a giant sword.

60. Molly Hayes - The youngest of the Runaways and depending on when you ask, a mutant. Super strength in limited supply, then it's sleepy time.

52. Nightcrawler - I almost didn't include him because it depends on the era. Back in the prime Excalibur days he was out front a lot. But Kurt is a good boy who deserved to be loved.

44/45. Ying and Shay - GIRL physicist/disaster gay and GIRL chemist/assassin who had a developing relationship in Unstoppable Wasp. I had plans to do more things with Ying's family stuff and Shay's teleporter, but at least we got as far as them being together.

I miss Nadia so much 🥺
42. Nadia Van Dyne / The Unstoppable Wasp - Obviously I love her. There's so much more I want to do with her.

41. Taina Miranda - This one is a bit self-indulgent, but we created an engineer with CP as part of GIRL and along with being a first class pro at telling people off, she basically built her own mech in the last issue and made friends with Robbie Reyes.

38. Talia al Ghul - Here's the weird thing about modern violent comics, is people just decided to make Batman more violent instead of highlighting characters who were considered villains because of their violence. I'd love to see Talia really be in the spotlight.

30. Janet Van Dyne / The Wasp - While writing Unstoppable Wasp I had a lot of angry people come at me about how Janet had never gotten her own series, to which I had to say "You are absolutely correct and I would gladly write that too." She's the best. One of the only adult superheroes

27. Dust - Speaking of underutilized X-Men of color, Soraya feels so full of possibilities and... well... perhaps is fitting that she keeps slipping through our fingers.

26. Storm - Let's be real, she is one of the most beloved characters in comics and right now appears quite a bit, but Storm has been massively underserved and especially in movies has been miscast.
Also, why are you always worried about who she's dating? She don't need nobody. She's Storm

19. Karolina Dean - I mean, all three of her girlfriends are on the list, how can she not be. Gay. Alien. A total mess. Glows when she's emotional. What's not to love?

18. Xavin - Xavin represents the secret power of Skrulls in these stories to talk about gender. Equally comfortable presenting as either gender. Extremely loyal. Occasionally very awkward

17. Nico Minoru - Admittedly, out of the Runaways she has fared best, but she deserves so much more. Bisexual witches are underrepresented on the page compared to the comics reading audience...
